Five ways to use the wheel
- Break a habit. If you always lock in the same survivor, spin the survivor wheel before every round and play whatever lands. It is the quickest way to learn what the other kits do, and what they can do to your main.
- Run a randomizer challenge. Friends in the same server each spin, and nobody may switch until they survive a round. Tick “Take each result off the wheel” so the group never doubles up.
- Settle what to unlock next. Put only the characters you don't own on the wheel and let it choose. Our Player Points guide explains how fast you will earn the price.
- Practise as killer. You only play killer when you have the most Malice, so spin the killer wheel in advance and read that killer's guide before your turn comes up.
- Stream or video bit. The copied link opens this page with the same result showing, so viewers can check the spin.
What's on the wheel, and what isn't
The wheel holds the characters the Official Forsaken Wiki lists on the main roster as of 24 October 2026: 8 killers and 13 survivors. Killers are the red segments and survivors the dark grey ones, and every character has an equal share of the wheel. Exclusive characters such as BRIMSTONE, the scrapped and unreleased ones, and the upcoming killer The Stalker are left off, because none of them can be picked in a public round. The killers page explains each of them.
The free filter leaves 5 characters: Noob, Elliot, Shedletsky, c00lkidd, Slasher. Every other character costs Player Points, except Jane Doe, who is unlocked by finishing her quests rather than bought. The survivor-class filter uses the wiki's three classes: Sentinels can stun or knock the killer back, Supports heal, shield, build or buff, and Survivalists get away through speed, invisibility or decoys.

|---|---|---|---|---|

The odds behind a spin
Every character left on the wheel has exactly the same chance, so the odds are simple division. With all 21 on the wheel, any one character comes up about 4.8% of the time (1 in 21). Spin only survivors and it is 1 in 13, about 7.7%; spin only killers and it is 1 in 8, 12.5%. Five of the 21 are free, so a full-wheel spin lands on a character you can play without spending anything 5 times in 21, a little under a quarter of the time.
Repeats are more common than people expect. Spin the full wheel four times and the chance that all four results are different is 21 × 20 × 19 × 18 ÷ 21⁴, about 74%, so roughly one session in four repeats a character. On the killer-only wheel, three spins in a row are all different only 8 × 7 × 6 ÷ 8³ ≈ 66% of the time. If your challenge says “no repeats”, tick Take each result off the wheel instead of re-spinning by hand: the wheel shrinks after each pick, and the result is still a fair draw from whoever is left.
The spin itself is only an animation. The pick is made first, from your browser's cryptographic random number generator, and the wheel is then turned to land on it, so a fast or slow-looking spin makes no difference.
After the spin
The result card shows the character's side, role, health, cost and the wiki's difficulty rating, plus a link to the full guide on this site. Difficulty is worth a glance before a challenge: the wiki rates Slasher, Elliot, Shedletsky, Taph and Helperbot at 2 out of 5, while John Doe, Noli, Azure and Dusekkar sit at 5, and Chance gets three slot machines instead of stars. If the wheel hands you a 5 you have never played, read the guide first.

Character wheel questions
Which characters are on the Forsaken character wheel?
All 21 main-roster characters: the 8 killers (John Doe, 1x1x1x1, c00lkidd, Nosferatu, Noli, Slasher, Guest 666 and Azure) and the 13 survivors, including Helperbot, who arrived in update 5.3.0. Exclusive, scrapped and unreleased characters are left off because you cannot pick them in a public round.
Is the wheel really random?
Yes. Every character left on the wheel has the same chance. The pick uses your browser's cryptographic random number generator, and the spin animation only shows the result; it does not decide it.
Can I spin only for characters I own?
Yes. Open "Take characters off the wheel" and tap anyone you have not unlocked. Tick "Free characters only" for a quick wheel of the five free characters: Noob, Shedletsky, Elliot, c00lkidd and Slasher.
Can I pick which side I play?
Not in a public round. The player with the most Malice at the start of a round becomes the killer and everyone else plays survivor, so spin the survivor wheel for the next round and keep a killer spin ready for when it is your turn.
