Azure Forsaken rounds begin with gardening. The newest killer jabs a tentacle into a wall and a Seeker Bulb sprouts where it lands; a few seconds later a Vine rises and turns to face the nearest survivor. Sprint past either plant, or use an ability near it, and it wakes up: the Bulb fires at you, the Vine lunges and snares you, and every hit marks you with a purple status called Atropa that Azure can see from across the map. Each stack he lands feeds a meter called Oblation. When the meter reaches 15, he spends 4.8 seconds summoning a Golem roughly ten studs tall that runs at 30, cannot be stunned and takes no damage. The game's own description puts it in one line: Azure "springs new life to shutdown and control the survivors movement" and, "when at their zenith", summons "an overwhelming construct to cull any in his path." This page lays out his stats, every ability with its cooldown and damage, what the Golem does, how to play against him and as him, and what the 5.0.1 patch changed. All of it comes from the Official Forsaken Wiki, read in October 2026; where the wiki is silent, this page says so rather than guessing.

Azure Stats: Health, Speed, Cost and Playstyle

Azure has 1,500 HP and costs $2,000 Player Points in the shop, which makes him the most expensive killer on the eight-killer roster; the next highest are Nosferatu at 1,922 and Guest 666 at 1,666. His walk speed of 9.25 is the highest any killer lists. Two columns matter here because Azure plays as two bodies: himself, and the Golem he summons. The Golem is faster at a run but carries less than half of his stamina. Every figure in this Azure Forsaken stats table is the wiki's own, copied as listed.

Perforating, Atropa and the Oblation Meter

Perforating is Azure's main attack: he jabs his tentacles forward for 22 damage, and a hit also triggers any of his plants nearby. On its own it is ordinary. What makes it Azure's attack is the passive the wiki calls Atropic. Every plant hit applies Atropa, a status only Azure can inflict. When Perforating lands on a survivor carrying Atropa, it deals 1 extra damage per stack, gives Azure 1 Oblation per stack, and then clears all the stacks. A survivor at the six-stack cap therefore takes 28 from a single jab and hands Azure six Oblation in one go. Stacks that are left alone expire after 30 seconds and still pay out, but at half the rate: 1 Oblation per 2 stacks, never less than 1. Extra stacks do not refresh the timer. Atropa also highlights the survivor to Azure, darker as stacks rise, so a heavily stacked survivor is easy to find. Dealing damage is the other source of Oblation, and the meter tops out at 15.

Seeker Bulb: The Turret Plant

Seeker Bulb is the plant Azure places most often. He slows down, winds up for 0.86 seconds, and jabs a tentacle forward; the Bulb grows on whatever surface the tentacle hits. Like every Azure plant it is triggered by sound, which the wiki's Echolocation passive defines as a survivor sprinting or using an ability near it. A triggered Bulb fires projectiles at that survivor for 4 damage and 1 Atropa stack per hit, and the survivor's aura is revealed to Azure for 3 seconds. It stops firing 1.5 seconds after it loses line of sight or the noise stops. Azure can keep three Bulbs out; a fourth replaces the oldest. Every new plant starts life Blooming (the Senescence passive): for 40 seconds it glows faintly purple, cannot be disarmed, and a Blooming Bulb fires 1.33 times faster. After that it can be disarmed, which withers it for 30 seconds before it comes back Blooming again.

Stigmatize: The Vine That Holds You

Stigmatize is the snare. Azure comes to a near standstill, winds up for 0.8 seconds and summons a Vine, which then needs 1.2 seconds to arm. A Vine always faces the nearest survivor, at any distance, unless that survivor is Undetectable. When triggered it winds up for 0.6 seconds and strikes for 12 damage and 3 Atropa stacks, three times what a Bulb applies. A hit snares the survivor: they cannot move more than a short distance from the Vine before being pulled back. The snare lets go after 5 seconds or once the survivor takes more than 10 damage, which in practice means as soon as Azure himself connects. On release the survivor gets Speed II for 1 second, and the Vine withers on a 6.5-second downtime, the same downtime it takes after a miss. While Blooming, a Vine triggers on any survivor who comes near, sprinting or not. Azure can keep three Vines out at once.

Enstrangle: The Grab and Throw

Enstrangle is Azure's long-range grab and the move most likely to end a chase outright. Activating it stops him sprinting and winds up a tentacle for 1 second; he then aims and sends it toward a target point. A hit deals 10 damage, lets him sprint again while holding the survivor, and ends in a throw toward the chosen spot for another 5 damage. The thrown survivor is briefly knocked down, so is anyone within 20 studs of where they land, and the landing always sets off nearby plants. That last line is the combo the kit is built around: throw a survivor into a Bulb or Vine and the plant fires regardless of sprinting. The costs are real. Stamina regeneration drops by 75% during the ability, Azure is Helpless (no abilities, not even Perforating) for 2 seconds after throwing, and a throw that lands too close to him adds Slowness II and a longer Helpless window. He is invincible during the grab cutscene plus 0.5 seconds after it.

Inflorescence and the Golem

Inflorescence is the payoff for everything above. At 15 Oblation, Azure can spend 4.8 seconds summoning the Golem. After that he switches between his own body and the Golem with the ability button on a 2.5-second cooldown, and whichever body he is not controlling stands still; the Golem becomes a statue. The Golem lives for 45 seconds of control time, because the timer pauses while Azure is back in his own body, and Azure cannot gain Oblation while it exists. Its passive, Efflorescent, gives it a 10% speed boost when more than 85 studs from every survivor, halves incoming negative status effects, and makes it immune to stuns: a stun instead applies 3 seconds of Slowness II and Helpless. It takes no damage at all. It has three attacks and a fourth button, Burrowing, that hands control back to Azure.

Playing against Azure

Start with what does not exist: the Official Forsaken Wiki's Strategy hub links to a Strategy:Azure page, but as of October 2026 that page has not been written. There is no official counter guide to cite. What follows is read directly from the numbers above, and the survivor-by-survivor matchups live on /blog/forsaken-counter-pick-guide-best-survivor-vs-every-killer.

Walk near plants instead of sprinting

Echolocation is explicit: plants trigger on sprinting or ability use nearby. A survivor who walks past a non-Blooming Bulb or Vine without using an ability gives it nothing to react to. Blooming Vines are the exception, since they fire on anyone who comes close for their first 40 seconds, so a faintly glowing Vine should be walked around, not past. Your own abilities count as noise, so think before using one beside a plant.

Disarm plants once the glow is gone

A plant that has finished Blooming can be disarmed, which takes it out for 30 seconds and pays +5 Player Points (see /blog/forsaken-player-points-guide). It is not free. Disarming applies 2 Atropa stacks to you, which is 2 extra damage and 2 Oblation the next time Azure jabs you. Disarm when he is far away and the stacks can expire, not mid-chase. Since 5.0.1 a survivor cannot move off a plant by teleporting while disarming it.

Treat Atropa as a clock

Atropa lasts 30 seconds and new stacks do not reset it. If you are carrying stacks, the best thing that can happen is that they run out before Perforating finds you, because natural expiry gives Azure half the Oblation a hit would. Staying out of reach for the rest of the timer is a real gain, not a stall.

Spread out against Enstrangle

The throw knocks down everyone within 20 studs of the landing point and sets off plants there. Survivors clustered on one generator are giving Azure a multi-target throw. After he throws, he is Helpless for 2 seconds, unable to use any ability; that is the window to break line of sight, not to stand still. Enstrangle then sits on a 25-second cooldown unless he cancelled it.

Run the Golem's timer, avoid the fissure

The Golem cannot be stunned or hurt, so stun abilities buy only 3 seconds of Slowness II and Helpless against it. Its 45 seconds count only while Azure is driving it, and while it exists he gains no Oblation, so a Golem that chases nobody is wasted meter. Step out of Unearthing's fissure line, because the 70% slow lasts 8 seconds, and keep distance from Blooming, whose damage scales up toward the centre of its slam.

Playing as Azure

Azure is listed at difficulty 5 for a reason: a round is three jobs at once. Plants find survivors and apply Atropa, Perforating and Pummeling cash those stacks in for damage and Oblation, and the Golem turns a full meter into area denial. He sits in A on /forsaken-tier-list, below the S-tier John Doe and Noli, and for the full eight-killer roster see /forsaken-killers.

Plant where survivors have to move

With only three of each plant, the oldest Bulb disappearing when you place a fourth, placement is the skill. Plants punish sprinting and ability use, so they work where survivors are likely to run or use abilities. Since 5.0.1 you cannot stack a Bulb onto another plant or move Vines closer to other plants, and the game warns you to move further away from your other plants if you try.

Spend stacks, do not just apply them

Stacks left to expire pay half. A Perforating hit on a survivor with three stacks from a Vine is 25 damage and 3 Oblation; letting those same stacks time out gives 1. The fastest route to 15 is hitting survivors soon after a plant tags them.

Throw into your own plants

Enstrangle's landing always triggers nearby plants, and a Vine snare releases after more than 10 damage, so a throw into a Vine followed by a jab is the kit's natural chain. Do not throw too close to yourself: that lengthens your Helpless and adds Slowness II.

Pace the Golem

The 45 seconds pause whenever you swap back, so you can leave the Golem as a statue in one area and hunt elsewhere, then return on the 2.5-second swap. Its 30 run speed and 10% boost beyond 85 studs give it the highest run speed listed for any character, but its stamina is only 50.

What Changed for Azure in 5.0.1

Azure arrived in 5.0.0 "Azure's Wrath", released on July 17, 2026, the update that also added the Roblox HQ and Reborn Family Abode maps, reworked Horror Hotel, made c00lkidd free, adjusted every killer's HP to match lore powerscaling, and sold an Azure Launch Pack for 749 Robux. The follow-up patch, 5.0.1 "Fixing Bugs", made one balance change and a long list of fixes. The next patch on the wiki's Chapter 3 log, 5.0.2, did not touch him. Every Azure line from his change history is below.

Azure FAQ

Short answers to the Azure Forsaken questions people search most, each traced to the wiki.

How much health does Azure have in Forsaken?

1,500 HP, per the Official Forsaken Wiki infobox. That is less than John Doe (2,300), Noli (2,222) and Guest 666 (2,750), and more than c00lkidd (1,000). His Golem form takes no damage at all.

How much does Azure cost?

$2,000 Player Points in the shop, the highest price of any killer. Player Points are earned only in public servers; disarming his plants as a survivor is one new way to earn them, at +5 each. The Azure Launch Pack added in 5.0.0 cost 749 Robux; the update log does not list its contents.

How do you counter Azure in Forsaken?

Walk rather than sprint near his plants, avoid using abilities beside them, disarm Bulbs and Vines once their 40-second Blooming glow ends, let Atropa stacks expire, and spread out so one Enstrangle throw cannot knock several survivors down. The wiki has no Azure strategy page yet; these come from his documented mechanics.

Is Azure a collab or event killer?

No. He is a permanent killer bought with Player Points and part of the game's own story: the wiki describes him as Aspen, a former member of the Family Home for The Reborn, killed by Two Time and turned into Azure. He even has a special Last Man Standing theme against Two Time. See /blog/how-many-killers-are-in-forsaken for the full roster count.

What is Azure's Golem?

A second body he summons with Inflorescence once his Oblation meter hits 15. It runs at 30, has 50 stamina, cannot be stunned, takes no damage, and attacks with Pummeling (26), Blooming (up to 35) and Unearthing (15 plus a 70% slow fissure). It lasts 45 seconds of control time.

Which update added Azure?

Update 5.0.0, titled "Azure's Wrath" and released on July 17, 2026, the Chapter 3 update that also added the Roblox HQ and Reborn Family Abode maps. His only listed balance change since is 5.0.1's cut to Blooming Seeker Bulb fire rate. Full change history: https://forsaken.wiki/Azure
