Forsaken Player Points Guide 2026: How to Earn Them (and Where You Cannot)
Forsaken Player Points guide: how the currency is earned, why private servers pay nothing, character costs, and how EXP levelling to milestone skins works.
Player Points are the only currency in Forsaken — and the single biggest mistake new players make is grinding them in the one place they cannot be earned. If you have searched for Forsaken coins, bloodpoints, or a currency guide, this is the page you needed: the game has exactly one currency, it is called Player Points, and it buys every Survivor, Killer, Skin and Emote in the shop. This guide covers how it is actually earned, the trap that stops it cold, how per-character levelling works alongside it, and where the name comes from — because it is a genuinely nice piece of Roblox history.
Player Points in Brief
- • Buys: Survivors, Killers, Skins, Emotes
- • Earned by: completing puzzles, using abilities, surviving
- • NOT earnable in private servers
- • Also purchasable from the shop with Robux
- • Separate system: per-character EXP levels
- • Named after a retired Roblox site feature (2014-2023)
You cannot earn Player Points in private servers
This is the most expensive thing to not know. The wiki states plainly that players are unable to earn Player Points in private servers. Private servers are excellent for practising generator puzzles, learning map layouts, and trying the command-panel items — but every minute spent there earns you nothing toward unlocking characters. Practise in private, grind in public. Guides that recommend private-server farming are describing something the game does not allow.
How Player Points Are Actually Earned
Three activities generate Player Points, and understanding which ones pay changes how you play a round that is already lost.
Completing puzzles
Generator work pays directly. Each Numberlink layer awards 5 Player Points alongside 15 EXP and 0.5 Malice, so a full generator is worth 20 Player Points and a full sweep of all five is 100. This makes objective play the most predictable income in the game — it does not depend on the killer's decisions the way surviving does. Using abilities
You are rewarded for using your character's abilities, and specifically for using them correctly. This is a deliberate design nudge: the game pays you to learn your kit rather than to hoard cooldowns. A survivor who never presses their buttons earns less than one who uses them well, even in the same length of match.
Surviving
Staying alive pays. Since the round is decided by a four-minute clock that survivors want to expire, this aligns your income with your win condition — unlike games where hiding is profitable but unhelpful. It also means a round where you contribute nothing and die early is close to worthless in currency terms, which is a reasonable incentive.
Buying them with Robux
Player Points can also be bought from the shop in exchange for Robux. Whether that is worth it is entirely personal, but for context: Builderman and Guest 1337 cost 500 each, Taph and Dusekkar 600, Veeronica 750. A full generator sweep nets 100, so an average character is a handful of committed rounds rather than a months-long grind.
What Player Points Actually Buy
| Character | Role | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Builderman | Support Survivor | 500 |
| Guest 1337 | Sentinel Survivor | 500 |
| Taph | Support Survivor | 600 |
| Dusekkar | Support Survivor | 600 |
| Veeronica | Survivalist Survivor | 750 |
| Jane Doe | Sentinel Survivor | Not purchasable — quest unlock |
Costs documented on the Official Forsaken Wiki, July 2026. Shop prices can change with updates; Jane Doe is unlocked by completing her quests after talking to her in the Cabin basement.
EXP and Levels: The Other Progression Track
Player Points are horizontal progression — they widen your roster. EXP is vertical: it deepens individual characters. The two run in parallel and are earned from the same actions.
Every character levels independently
EXP is earned by using abilities correctly, completing objectives, and participating in matches — the same triad that pays Player Points. But it accrues per character, so levelling Elliot does nothing for your Noob. That is worth knowing before you spread your playtime thin across a large roster.
Milestone skins at 25, and three more after
Reaching level 25 on a character rewards a milestone Skin, and this repeats for a further three milestones. That is a concrete reason to main a character rather than rotate constantly: skins are otherwise a Player Point purchase, so levelling is effectively a second currency that only pays out to specialists.
The level cap
Levelling caps at 100, after which no further skins are rewarded unless the cap is changed in the game's settings. Practically, almost nobody hits this on more than one or two characters, so treat 25 as the meaningful first target and the later milestones as long-term goals for a genuine main.
Pro Tip
The fastest honest route to your first bought character: play public matches, commit to generator layers rather than abandoning them under mild pressure, and actually use your abilities. A full five-generator sweep is 100 Player Points, so five productive rounds puts a 500-point survivor within reach.
Where the Name Comes From
Player Points are not an invented currency — they are a reference. Roblox added Player Points to the website in 2014 as a scoring system for developers to show off player skill across experiences. The feature slowly lost prominence and was fully retired in 2023. Forsaken, which is built as a tribute to Roblox history from 2006 to the present, revived the name for its own economy. It is a small detail, but it is characteristic: the maps are homages to classic games, the roster is drawn from platform folklore, and even the currency is a piece of the site's past brought back.
Player Points FAQ
The currency questions players actually search.
Does Forsaken have coins?
No — the currency is called Player Points. Guides referring to Forsaken coins or bloodpoints are using terminology from other games. There is one currency, and this is it.
How do you get Player Points fast?
Generator puzzles are the most reliable income at 5 per layer, 100 for all five generators, because they do not depend on how the killer plays. Combine that with actually using your abilities and surviving to the timer. And stay out of private servers if earning is the goal.
Can you earn Player Points in private servers?
No. Private servers earn nothing. Use them for practice — generator puzzles, map learning, command-panel items — and play public matches when you want to progress.
Can you buy Player Points?
Yes, from the shop in exchange for Robux. It is optional; the earn rates are reasonable enough that most characters are a few focused sessions away.
Do Player Points and EXP earn at the same time?
Yes. The same actions — completing puzzles, using abilities, participating and surviving — feed both. Player Points widen your roster; EXP levels the specific character you are playing toward milestone skins at level 25 and beyond.
Final Thoughts
Forsaken's economy is refreshingly simple: one currency, three ways to earn it, and a parallel EXP track that rewards sticking with a character. The two things worth internalising are that private servers pay nothing, and that generator puzzles are the most predictable income in the game. Learn the Numberlink grid, commit to layers instead of abandoning them, use your abilities — and the roster opens up faster than the grind reputation suggests.
- • One currency: Player Points, buying Survivors, Killers, Skins and Emotes
- • Earned by completing puzzles, using abilities, and surviving
- • ZERO earnings in private servers — practise there, grind in public
- • Generator layer = 5 PP; full sweep of all five = 100 PP
- • EXP levels each character separately; milestone skin at 25, cap at 100
- • Named after the Roblox site feature added in 2014 and retired in 2023
