Roblox HQ: released update 5.0.0 · objective Generators · creators saturn_nil, doczotic. Data card by ForsakenHub from the Official Forsaken Wiki, October 2026.

How many maps are in Forsaken? 19 public maps that a normal round can send you to, 11 maps that only exist in private servers, and 9 variants of public maps. That is 39 entries on the Official Forsaken Wiki's Maps page as of October 15, 2026, but only the 19 are the answer most people are looking for. Those three numbers are counting different things, and most of the disagreement you see online comes from mixing them. The 19 public maps are the ones you can land on in a public server, and every one of them uses the same core objective: five generators (since update 5.3.0, BrandonWorks and Horror Hotel each add a side objective as well). The 11 private-server maps are reached through the command panel in a private server and include joke maps, test maps and preserved old versions. The 9 variants are alternate looks for nine of the public maps — a Halloween Yorick's Resting Place, a Sakura Ultimate Assassin Grounds and so on — which the wiki lists separately but which are not new places. Below is every public map with the update it was added in and its credited creators, then the private-server list, how variants work, the maps that have been removed or scrapped, and what the wiki says about how a map gets picked for a round. Source for all of it: the Official Forsaken Wiki, read October 2026 (https://forsaken.wiki/Maps).

All 19 Public Forsaken Maps, by the Update That Added Them

Compiled from the release version and creator credits on each entry of the Official Forsaken Wiki Maps page, read October 15, 2026. "Variant" names the alternate version of that map, if it has one, with the update the variant arrived in. Every public map's objective is listed as Generators.

What the table shows about the count

Read down the "Added in update" column and the number stops looking arbitrary. Four maps shipped with 1.0.0 — Brandonworks, Glass Houses, Yorick's Resting Place and Planet Voss — and the public pool has grown by one to three maps at a time since. Update 3.3.0 was the biggest single jump, adding Cake Factory, Beach House Paradise and Classic Battlegrounds together. The two newest public maps, Roblox HQ and Reborn Family Abode, both arrived in 5.0.0 "Azure's Wrath", which the wiki dates to July 17, 2026, and that update also rebuilt Horror Hotel rather than adding a third new place. 4.0.0 "One Fateful Day" (March 18, 2026) added one, Natural Disaster Island. So if a page tells you Forsaken has 17 maps, it was written before 5.0.0. Ask how many maps are there in Forsaken today and the wiki's answer is 19.

Two maps go by more than one name

Brandonworks is titled brandon6875935's place on the wiki, which notes that the round-over screen uses that name while the console calls it BrandonWorks. The wiki's own update summaries also list Builder Brothers Pizza under its earlier name, Work at a Pizza Place, and Cake Factory as Make A Cake Factory. If you are counting maps from an old video or a list that uses the older names, you are not looking at extra maps — they are the same entries in the table above.

Old maps keep changing without being re-counted

A map's release version does not mean it has stayed the same. The wiki records a Planet Voss rework in the Noli update, a refreshed look for Glass Houses in the Slasher update, and the full Horror Hotel revamp in 5.0.0. The 5.0.1 patch notes adjusted several maps again, including removing a killer door in Brandonworks. None of that changes the count: a rework replaces the map in the public pool rather than adding a second one. For what each map looks like today, use Forsaken Maps or All Forsaken Maps 2026; for Roblox HQ specifically, Roblox HQ Map Forsaken.

Private-server maps

The wiki files these 11 under "Exclusive". They never appear in public matchmaking; you load them from the map list in a private server's command panel, and the Gamepasses page lists access to them as part of the V.I.P. gamepass (599 Robux) under "developer exclusive content in private servers". Most still use generators. The ones that do not are why "private-server maps" is worth treating as its own category rather than adding them to the 19. Objective and release version for each, as the wiki lists them:

The 11 exclusive maps

Listed in the order the wiki gives them.

  • •SFOTH (Sword Fight On The Heights), 1.0.0 — objective: none. Based on Shedletsky's Sword Fights on the Heights; the wiki notes an objective counter still shows even though there is nothing to complete.
  • •Generator Hell, 1.0.0 — objective: old generators. The only map that still uses the original generator puzzle, where you turn a grid of red squares green and each click flips a small plus shape of squares. Each generator is harder than the last.
  • •Template Town, released after 1.0.0 — objective: generators.
  • •Generator Hell 2, 1.2.0 — objective: generators, using the current generator puzzle rather than the old one.
  • •Area 51, 2.0.0 — objective: generators. The wiki lists it as planned to be reworked into a full map.
  • •YellowOnesWrath, 3.1.0 — objective: generators.
  • •Rocket Arena, 3.3.0 — objective: generators.
  • •Showcase, 3.5.3 — objective: generators. Credited to Enoderen.
  • •Legacy (also known as Template), 5.0.0 — objective: Totems, an objective the wiki lists only for private-server maps.
  • •Noli Racing, 5.1.0 ("SUMMER GAMES (WEEK 1)") — objective: generators.
  • •Ancient Horror Hotel, 5.0.0 — objective: generators. The pre-rework Horror Hotel, kept as a private-server map when the public version was revamped. Credited to Doczotic.

One more set the Maps page does not count

The Gamepasses page lists "Ancient variants" of Brandonworks, Glass Houses, Planet Voss and Yorick's Resting Place among the V.I.P. private-server maps. The Maps page does not give them their own entries, so they are not in the 11 or the 9. The Objectives page also lists a Graffiti objective in its private-server section, tied to Brandonworks. If you count those Ancient versions, you get a bigger private-server number than the wiki's headline figure; we stick to the Maps page so the count is checkable. Setting up a private server is covered step by step in Forsaken Private Server Guide 2026.

Variants and why they aren't separate maps

A variant is a public map with a different look — new lighting, a seasonal theme, a remade set dressing — under the same map name. The wiki gives each one its own entry and its own creator credit, which is why a quick count of the page can reach 28 or 39 instead of 19. Every variant sits on top of one of the public maps in the table, and no public map has more than one: Glass Houses, C00l Carnival, Underground War, Yorick's Resting Place, Familiar Ruins, Planet Voss, Ultimate Assassin Grounds, Beach House Paradise and The Tempest each have exactly one variant.

The 9 variants in release order

New Glass Houses, Bluuworld C00l Carnival and Memories Underground War all arrived in 3.1.0; Halloween Yorick's Resting Place in 3.2.0; Classic Familiar Ruins in 3.4.3; Aurora Planet Voss in 3.5.3; Sakura Ultimate Assassin Grounds in 4.0.0; and Neon Night Beach House Paradise and Ethereal Tempest in 5.1.0. The objective on every one of them is generators, the same as its base map.

The case for counting them under their base map

Two things in the wiki point the same way. First, the 4.0.1 patch notes include "Fixed the chances of getting Sakura Ultimate Assassin Grounds being skewed" — variants have a chance of turning up rather than being a separate slot you queue for. Second, Memories Underground War exists because a scrapped standalone map, Military Base, had its concept remade as a variant instead. A variant is a version of a place you already know, not a new place to learn. The wiki does not publish the odds of getting a variant, and neither do we.

Maps that are gone

Some maps that people remember are not in any of the three counts. They fall into two groups: maps that were in the game and were removed, and maps that were announced or built but never released.

Removed: Haunted Mansion

Haunted Mansion was an almost unabridged port of Shedletsky's Roblox place of the same name. The wiki says it was private-server exclusive and available at launch, that Yorick's Resting Place replaced it, and that it was later removed from the game entirely for an unknown reason. It was one of the last maps to use Pumpkins as an objective, and the only map where the Flashlight could spawn naturally. It can still be played in Forsaken: Archived 2024, which the wiki describes as a near exact copy of the game on release day, forked by a former lead programmer.

Replaced in place: the old Horror Hotel

When Horror Hotel was revamped in 5.0.0, the earlier version did not vanish: it became Ancient Horror Hotel, one of the 11 private-server maps. That is why Horror Hotel has a 1.1.0 release version and a 5.0.0 rework in the table above but is still counted once.

Scrapped before release

The wiki's Scrapped section lists eight maps in total, Haunted Mansion included. The other seven never reached the game:

  • •Snowball Brawl 1 — permissions to make the map were pulled due to controversy.
  • •Outer Roblox HQ (a name the wiki marks as conjecture) — reworked into the Roblox HQ map in the game today.
  • •Pet Noonie Simulator — pulled due to controversy; the source game has since been cancelled.
  • •Camp Crystal Lake — production stopped over copyright worries after Jason was replaced by Slasher.
  • •Cold Reception — scrapped by the developers, though the rest of the POSTMORTEM collab was still featured.
  • •Military Base — the person making it was fired; the concept became the Memories variant of Underground War.
  • •Battlefield — a Void Cult collab map that was scrapped and later released publicly as its own Roblox place; the wiki cites its creator saying it will be repurposed at some point.

Planned but not here yet

The Maps page has a "Potential" section with two entries: the Banlands, confirmed in a Q&A to release in the future and likely alongside Doombringer, and a rework of Area 51 from a private-server map into a full one. Neither has a date, and neither counts until it ships. Our roadmap page, Forsaken Upcoming Killers 2026, tracks what the wiki confirms.

How map selection works

The wiki documents three things about how a map is chosen, and no more. In a public server, after the intermission and the killer's intro cutscene, players are brought to a randomly selected map from the public pool (Forsaken page on the wiki). Variants are rolled by chance: the 4.0.1 notes fixed the "chances of getting" Sakura Ultimate Assassin Grounds being skewed, though the wiki does not say how that roll works. In a private server, the command panel can force a specific map — the 4.0.1 notes fixed a bug where players were "not being able to force maps with the VIP command panel" — and that is the only way to reach the 11 exclusive maps. The wiki publishes no per-map odds, no weighting and no rule against repeats, so any page claiming exact rotation percentages is guessing. More on the map pool over time is on Forsaken Map Rotation 2026. Whichever map you land on, the round is the same: one killer against everyone else in the server, a clock of 3:00 to 4:00 depending on how many players are in it, five generators, and all five completed takes a full minute off the timer.

Quick answers

The three questions that most often follow the count.

How many maps does Forsaken have that I can actually play in a public match?

19. Those are the maps in the table on this page, from Brandonworks to Roblox HQ, according to the Official Forsaken Wiki in October 2026. Variants of nine of them can also appear, but they are alternate versions of those 19, not additional maps.

What are the Forsaken private server maps?

Eleven maps reachable only through a private server's command panel: SFOTH, Generator Hell, Template Town, Generator Hell 2, Area 51, YellowOnesWrath, Rocket Arena, Showcase, Legacy, Noli Racing and Ancient Horror Hotel. SFOTH has no objective, Generator Hell uses the old generator puzzle, Legacy uses Totems, and the rest use generators. The Gamepasses page lists them under the V.I.P. gamepass.

Which maps were added most recently?

Roblox HQ and Reborn Family Abode, both in 5.0.0 "Azure's Wrath" (July 17, 2026), which also reworked Horror Hotel and moved its old version into private servers as Ancient Horror Hotel. The newest additions of any kind are 5.1.0's Neon Night Beach House Paradise and Ethereal Tempest variants and the private-server map Noli Racing. The full map hub is at Forsaken Maps, and the rest of the game is covered from the homepage and Roblox Forsaken Guide.
